MDCAT Champion ("the App", "we", "us") is developed and operated by Muhammad Akif. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name and email address via Firebase Authentication to create and secure your account. Your password is never stored or seen by us directly — it's handled entirely by Firebase Authentication's secure infrastructure.
Quiz activity data. We store your quiz results — subject, chapter, score, accuracy, and time taken — linked to your account, so you can view your history and progress over time. This is stored in Google Firestore.
Device and advertising data. The App shows ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect an advertising identifier and general device/usage information to serve and measure ads. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy and AdMob's policies. The App does not target ads based on any content you enter into quizzes.
Push notification token. If notifications are enabled, your device registers with Firebase Cloud Messaging to receive occasional app announcements. This uses a device-level token, not personal content.
Local device storage. Quiz content is cached on your device so you can take quizzes offline after your first sync. This cached content stays on your device and is not transmitted elsewhere.
To provide and maintain your account and quiz history, let you review past performance, serve ads that keep the App free, and send optional app announcements/reminders if enabled. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share data only with the service providers that make the App work: Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging) and Google AdMob. We do not share your data with any other third party for marketing purposes.
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time:
• In the app: Profile → Account → Delete Account.
• Without the app installed: visit our
Account Deletion Request page.
Upon a verified deletion request, your quiz history and account record are permanently deleted, typically within 7 days.
MDCAT Champion is intended for pre-medical students preparing for university entrance exams (typically ages 17 and up) and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We rely on Firebase's industry-standard security infrastructure to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
